Shailaja R. Nandyal is the Co-Founder & Director of SITARA Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a professional services Company with core competencies in strategic management consulting and process assessments using Lean Six Sigma strategies, Scrum, all 3 constellation of the CMMI namely, CMMI-DEV (Development), CMMI-SVC (Service Establishment & Delivery), CMMI-ACQ (Acquisition) and the People CMM. She has a master’s degree in Mathematics. As a director on the board of SITARA Technologies Pvt. Ltd., and SITARA Technologies, Inc., a dedicated research and development center located in the USA, she is responsible for managing strategic relationships of SITARA.

She is responsible for maintaining SITARA's intellectual property, creation of project proposals, work-orders for customers and managing corporate communications. She is a management consultant with many years of experience in financial management, resource management and strategic planning. She heads SITARA’s Relationship Management Team chartered with the responsibility to develop, maintain and upgrade SITARA’s website. She oversees all aspects of SITARA's operations.

Her current research focus is on healthcare and hospital management. She is pursuing her research interests with the Administrative Staff College of India.

SITARA established itself as a pioneering research & development organization and as the first 50 partners with the Software Engineering Institute, Carnegie Mellon University for global transition of process technologies. As a global partner with the CMMI Institute, SITARA offers authorized services related to the CMMI and People CMM which includes delivery of the Introduction to CMMI-DEV, -SVC and People CMM courses and SCAMPIsm appraisal services. The 2nd Edition of the CMMI entitled, 'Framework of Constellations for Building World-Class IT Organizations', addressed all three constellations of the CMMI in both staged and continuous representations.
