Course DescriptionThe Introduction to Capability
Maturity Model-Integrated - SE/SWIPPD/SS V1.1, Continuous
Representation course introduces participants to the
CMM-Integrated Model and its fundamental concepts. The course
discussion emphasizes understanding of the six capability
levels and the categories of process areas (PAs). The course
is based on version 1.1 of the CMMI.
This three-day course describes a framework that
organizations can use to determine their ability to develop
and maintain systems; it is a model for organizational
improvement. The course is composed of lectures and class
exercises with ample opportunity for participant questions and

valid judgments regarding an organization's implementation of
the process areas. The course is helpful in identifying issues
